High ResolutionFrom Katharine Hepburn’s 1981 interview with Barbara Walters:
Hepburn: “I have not lived as a woman. I have lived as a man…I’ve just done what I damn well wanted to and I made enough money to support myself. And I ain’t afraid of being alone.”
Walters: “Is that why also you wear pants?”
Hepburn: “No, I just wore pants because they’re comfortable.”
Walters: “Do you ever wear a skirt, by the way?”
Hepburn: “I have one.”
Walters: “You have one.”
Hepburn: “I’ll wear it to your funeral.”

words & turds: watching to wong foo
and it is miraculously making everything better.
once i was watching an episode of drag u, and this woman was on for a makeover saying that she never wanted to present as pretty or feminine because she was raped when she was young. so she feared for her safety when she dressed “like a woman.” and the drag queen she was paired with said, “oh honey, if anyone understands how scary it is to leave the house dressed like a woman, it’s a drag queen.”
when she was revealed with her new look she said, “i finally feel like a beautiful woman.” and there were people of all sexes and genders celebrating the power and beauty of womanhood… i straight up bawled my fucking eyes out.
GODDAMN WESLEY SNIPES WORKS HEELS BETTER THAN I DO.
